Verification codes not coming through

To be more specific, when I request a code it doesnt come through until much later, and then they all come together.
More info. Logs show ‘code/link sent’ but they don’t arrive in timely manner. Then at 24 minutes past each hour they all arrive together.
No progress with this.
Auth0 logs show ‘code/link sent’ but it doesn’t arrive when it should.
At 24 minutes (why 24) past the hour they all arrive which is bizarre.

edit: There has been some increased latency from the built-in email provider. Please be sure to set up a custom email provider, as that has been solving the issue.
