Two questions about the ESSENTIALS plan

Hi folks,

I have two questions about ESSENTIALS plan.

  1. What is the difference between “Unlimited Social Connections” and “1000 External MAU”? I just want to enable our users to post comments on our website.

  2. “Social Connections” for Free plan is “Trial” and it’s enabled in ESSENTIALS plan. May I ask what benefit can I get? For instance, can I enable Apple login without having to enroll the Apple Dev program?

Social Connections are types of identity providers. Examples are Google, Facebook, and Twitter. This statement means you can have unlimited different social identity providers.

MAUs are Monthly Active Users. These are individual users, and active means they have authenticated in the month. For example, you may have 10,000 total users from Google, Facebook, and Twitter, in Auth0, and 1000 of them have authenticated in the given period.
