In the pricing page, the free plan can have 25000 active users.
But on the subscription page, the essentials plan has a line “Up to 500 Monthly Active Users”.
I’m confused. If I have 10K active users, and they all login at least once per month, does the free plan fit?
Hi @amooW6ojoh,
Welcome to the Auth0 Community!
Yes, what you see is correct on our pricing page. The Essentials and Professional plans have various custom tiers available depending on the number of monthly active users. There is a sliding scale to select your monthly active users, which will reflect the price accordingly. See below for 1000 MAUs:
(Reference:
Pricing - Auth0)
If you have 10,000 users who log in at least once per month, the free tier will be sufficient to support all of your users, and you will still have 15k extra remaining.
I hope this helps!
Let me know if you have any further questions.
Thanks,
Rueben
If I exceed the 25000 MAU, how can I increase the limit? In the pricing page, options are only available for advanced authentication methods, it never talked about normal users limits.
Hi @amooW6ojoh,
If you exceed the 25,000 MAU, you can increase your limits by speaking to our Sales team regarding an upgrade to your subscription.
The higher subscription plans include everything in the previous plan. For example, the Essential plans include everything in the free plan, with additional features only available in the Essentials plan.
Best,
Rueben
okay, can’t upgrade the MAU limit without talking to the sales. Another question is, is that 25K a hard limit? Will the No.25001 user fail to register if I forget to upgrade in time?
