Hello, I’m trying to use google workspace smtp for mail delivery. I read previous post where the solution is to setup google to accept less secure app. but since the 30th of sept. there is an update saying it’s not available anymore.
Anyone as feedback ?
right now , the log message is credentials are not valid (which I verified 5 times )

Thank you for reaching out to us!
I was able to find that, in addition to enabling “Less Secure Apps” when configuring your application, you will also need to create and use an app password, reference from a different Community post. I’m not 100% sure if this is still working right now, it might need to be tested beforehand.
From what I could find, SMTP using basic auth is all that we currently support when connecting to Google. We highly recommend looking over the integration types that we offer and configure a business grade email provider for production purposes.
