Incorrect 'save' message when saving custom copy changes

Hi there,

I want to report a bug.

When you edit custom text and press ‘Save changes’, the toast which appears says ‘Custom text changes discarded’.

This is incorrect. The copy changes are saved correctly, but the message says they were discarded.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to Branding > Universal Log > Edit text and translations
  2. Make any copy change
  3. Press ‘Save changes’

Expected result

Toast says ‘Custom text changes saved’

Actual result

Toast says ‘Custom text changes discarded’

It was a bit alarming to see this at first, so I hope your engineers can resolve this.

I have a screenshot and a screen recording but the forum says I don’t have permission to attach either.

Thank you for reporting the bug in the Auth0 Dashboard. This is a known issue in the Auth0 Engineering team’s backlog to update the text seen for a successful custom text change.

In the meantime, a message with a green check mark should indicate the changes have been saved.
