Hi @yellowblockllp,
Welcome back to the Auth0 Community!
A cause of getting the “Text Customization applies only to Universal Login” message is having the Classic Universal login custom HTML pages enabled. These templates include MFA, Login, Password Reset pages.
If you tried disabling these toggles and the issue doesn’t get solved, please check the following knowledge solutions:
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Thanks,
Tudor
hi @tudor.smeu
I have selected the universal login only fro reference i am attaching a screen shot
and the custom login page is in disable mode only
still i am unable to change/update the texts in custom text
is there any specific reason for this
Hi @yellowblockllp,
Are you using a free tenant. If so, I was able to reproduce this issue on a free tenant trying on both the Auth0 dashboard and the Management API.
In order to be able modify the text for Universal Login, you need to have a valid credit card registered on your account.
Thanks,
Tudor
Hi @tudor.smeu
yes we are using the Free Tenant, but previously i was able to change it as per our requirement
Has AuthO made it mandatory for having a Valid card in order to customise the universal Login
Hi @yellowblockllp,
As of the last pricing change introduced, a valid credit/debit card is necessary for using the custom text functionality.
However, the card is only used as a mean of verification, the custom text service remaining available with the free subscription.
The credit card verification step will NOT imply actual charges so there will be no costs associated with configuring or using the custom domain.
I hope this was helpful and if you have additional questions don’t hesitate to ask.
Thank you,
Tudor
Hi @tudor.smeu
thanks for you assistance on this , after validating the card i was able to change/update the custom text for the universal login
