Advice on Pricing Plans for Short-Lived Users Exceeding the Free MAU Limit

Hello,

I would like to ask for advice regarding your pricing plans and the best way to operate our service.

We are developing a system in which users have an account validity period of approximately one week and log in to our service only during that period. As we are considering integrating your authentication system, we are planning to start with the Free plan, which includes up to 25,000 Monthly Active Users (MAUs).

However, when measured on a monthly basis, we expect that our total MAUs may exceed 25,000. In reality, since most users are only active for about one week, they do not log in for roughly two-thirds of each month.

If we subscribe to the Essentials plan simply because our MAUs exceed 25,000, we would be charged USD 2,100 per month even though the total number of users is only around 25,000 to 30,000. As mentioned above, however, most of these users are inactive for approximately two-thirds of the month. Given the nature of our service, it is difficult for us to justify subscribing to the paid plan based solely on the monthly MAU count.

Could you please let us know if there is a pricing plan or operational approach that would better suit this type of usage?

In addition, if we later upgrade from the Free plan to a paid plan, could you also advise whether there are any operational considerations we should be aware of, such as service interruption, required configuration changes, or any impact on existing users?

Thank you in advance for your advice.irst try searching for your answer.
