The verification email template From field has been updated but the email received via the Passwordless connection is not using it.

Solution
The email sent by the Email-based passwordless connection actually uses the template for the Passwordless connection (Authentication > Passwordless > Email ).
Therefore, any updates that need to be received in the actual Email need to be made there.
