Updating the "From" field in email template makes emails not send at all

I am updating the verification email template and changing the “from” field to anything at all makes the test emails and real emails within our application not send at all, even when I use the example in the text there.

Could you please enter a valid email instead of <support@yourcompany.com> in the From field, save the change, and try again? Please let me know how it goes. Thanks!

Thanks for the response! I have tried with a few valid emails and am experiencing the same issue. I’ve also tried hard coding a name here and it doesn’t work either.

I checked the logs in your tenant. There was a “Failure” in sending the notification.

The error in the log is like this:

Email address is not verified. The following identities failed the check in region xxxx"

I found this article regarding the error.

Could you please try with a different From email and check if it works?
