Overview

This article will explain why some users might experience unexpected logouts from the Auth0 Dashboard.

Cause

The Auth0 dashboard automatically logs out users as a security measure in case it detects abnormal network activity. This prevents bad actors from accessing the dashboard.

Abnormal activity could include a slight internet drop, logging out of a VPN, sudden IP change, or anything between that range.

Solution

Ensure that:

  • A stable internet connection is present
  • The VPN location is not changing
  • The IP address is not changing
