Use themed branding with customized login pages

I love the look of the themed branding I have with the new universal login page. I want to customize it further and understand that to do so I need to check ‘Customize Login Page’. When I do that, however, I lose all the themed branding. Is there a way to use both?

Hi @infoBSG

Welcome to the Auth0 Community.

You won’t be able to use both because when you enable the “Customize Login Page” switch to use custon HTML you’ll end up using Lock which is the Classic Experience. I’m assuming you’re using the no code editor on the New Experience, the other option for customizations on New is to use page templates and the liquid syntax this would require a custom domain though on your tenant and you would also need to port across the styles you made on the no code editor via custom css but this would give you more control over customizations.

Warm regards.

Hi @SaqibHussain!

Yes, I have a custom domain set up. I was trying to figure out how to port over the css styles since I don’t know the class names or id’s of the elements. Is there a way to “copy and paste” the theme id or settings?

Hi @infoBSG

I took another look at this and it seems the css customization is limited to the layout, page footers and logo via the liquid syntax so using the no code editor is really the only option and we cannot customize further than that at this time https://auth0.com/docs/customize/universal-login-pages/universal-login-page-templates#css-customization

I would provide some feedback here if there are specific customizations you want to see and currently not provided.

Warm regards.
