Overview
This article clarifies whether it is possible to update the Auth0 Dashboard user/tenant member profile.
Solution
For Auth0 accounts using email and password to authenticate, the user profile field is set by default to the email address, and it cannot be changed. So, it is not possible to update the user profile information when logging in using a username/password.
While using an IdP (enterprise or social), the user profile is populated with the information provided by the respective IdP (enterprise or social provider).
