Dear
I’m new to Auth0, and I’m willing to use Roles for “App specific Users management”.
I see that it exists only in paid plans, however, my account has expired the trial period and my plan is limited to free features now.
Now I see that I can still create roles and add them to users (manually) from the dashboard.
How come this is happening? Is it allowed on the dashboard manually but not allowed through the management API?
The same thing applies to Organizations. despite the fact I should be able to manage 5 organizations, I was able to add 7 there without being stopped.

Hi @mohamed.shlibik
Welcome to the Auth0 Community!
You are correct in your observation, the limits that can be seen on our Pricing page for Free tenants can sometimes be different. We can attribute this to the fact that new, free tenants usually start as Trial tenants that grant access to higher features for 22 days while the Trial lasts. As priorities change, tenants that get downgraded from Trial status to Free can retain features from higher tiers, eventhough this is not specifically mentioned as soon as some changes are made.
We can expect changes to be made to each Plan’s limits as new features are being developed and introduced.
Hope you are enjoying Auth0 so far, have a great one!
Gerald
Hi Gerald
Thanks for your answer, are you saying that Roles will be available for me in the free plan or its just a matter of time and its possible that one day I wont be able to use them unless I upgrade to the next plan?
