Number of existing database connections isn't updating after delete / Can't create new database connection

Hi,

We are trying to create a new database connection on our tenant.
We had 10 connections already, and have since deleted one to make room for a new one.
Unfortunately, the quota doesn’t seem to be updating and we still can’t create a new connection, even after a week of waiting, listing us as having 10 despite there now only being 9.
How long doe it usually take for the quota to be reset and for us to be able to create a new one?
Can someone help?
