MFA - ability to resend SMS code

When using SMS as a second factor with the New experience enabled, Auth0 provides the user with nice ability to resend verification code, which is enabled by default:

The Resend link doesn’t come up when trying to customizing UI (it seems like it defaults to a Classic experience, which if enabled, also doesn’t have the retry link):

Is there any way to enable the Resend link when customizing the MFA page?

I tried this method but I got no SMS code. My original Auth0 app is on my old iphone and I cannot access it. How can I recover and reset Auth0 on my new phone? or rather even Google authenticator?
