Machine to Machine token usage limitation

Hello,

I have a question related to machine to machine quota utilization, I am using a machine to machine type application with Auth0 Management API attached to it. Now if i call this application from a backend deployed api to get a new access token with refresh token for a user, does this token count towards auth0 M2M 1000 token limit per month ?
