Hello Support Team,
I am currently on the Startup plan, which is coming to an end soon. I am attempting to upgrade my account before the trial expires, but I am unable to proceed due to a recurring error.
Every time I attempt to confirm the upgrade, I receive the following message: “Error! Api Error, please contact support if the problem persists.”
I have already attempted the following troubleshooting steps with no success:
-
I searched the community forums (most threads end in DMs with no public solution).
-
I tried updating my payment information.
-
I attempted the transaction using different credit cards.
Could you please assist me in manually processing this upgrade or resolving the API error so I do not lose service ? I have enterprise clients so it would be very annoying to have a service interruption.
Thank you.
Hi @chrishmc,
Welcome to the Auth0 Community!
The reason why you are receiving this error message is because Startups have to wait until their Decommission Date to a Free plan in order to make the subscription change from your end. Only on this date, on or after 10AM Pacific time you’ll be able to upgrade to the Auth0 plan of your choice via the Manage Subscriptions page, according to this blog post - What to Expect When Your Auth0 Startup Plan Expires?.
Since you want to move off the startup plan earlier, you should reach out directly to the Auth0 for Startups team at startups@auth0.com, as they will be able to assist you on the matter.
Thank you!
Best regards,
Remus

Hi! Thanks for the swift response. To clarify, we have actually already gone through the initial plan. We are currently back on a 30-day free trial which expires in just 6 days, hence the urgency on my end.
