I have Google login set up on my app, but the login screen from Google says “Login to auth0.com”. I’ve read this thread which suggests that the “auth0.com” part is being read from the “App title” field within Google.
However, for me, my App title is already set to something customised, yet the login screen continues to say “Login to auth0.com”.
One thing I did notice on the Google side is my app was in test status. I’ve now published it and submitted it for verification. Should I expect the Auth0.com reference to be gone after that, or is there some other issue here?
Thank you for posting. Have you got any updates on the verification status? If not, please let us know! I suggest referring to the knowledge solution below:
Hi Valerian, thanks for the reply. I have had an automated reply from Google merely acknowledging receipt of the verification request.
I’ll follow the steps on the linked article re: adding a custom domain.
I wonder if it would be an idea to update the Auth0 documentation to make it clear about things like this. Right now I don’t believe it’s clear in what circumstances Google shows auth0.com rather than the canonical domain. There is also a similar issue with Microsoft login where it says the domain is “unverified” unless you use a custom domain.
