Within the Auth0 Community, our goal is to help members connect to the best answers or most liked content to troubleshoot their biggest problems. To this end we actively audit community posts. As a result, posts or replies may be removed. Read the FAQ below to learn more about our process.
Why was my post deleted?
- We welcome contributions by our members. However, your post may be deleted as part of an ongoing effort to maintain the quality and relevance of information in the community. We periodically evaluate topics based on age, duplication, and resolution.
What effects do deleting the topic and post have on the user’s trust level?
- Deleting a topic or post does not negatively impact a user’s trust level. Trust levels are calculated based on various factors, including user activity, participation, and behavior within the community. The removal of old, inactive posts is a housekeeping measure and does not reflect on your standing or contributions to the community.
Why is my deleted post count higher?
- Your deleted post count may be higher due to the removal of old, inactive posts and topics during our regular cleanup process. This increase is purely administrative and does not affect your overall engagement or reputation within the community. It is important to keep the forum streamlined and focused on current, relevant discussions.
Will my level be impacted if my topic is deleted?
- No, your trust level will not be impacted if your topic is deleted. Trust levels are determined by ongoing activity and engagement within the community. Deleting old topics is a maintenance task that does not influence the metrics used to calculate trust levels.
