Overview

Custom agreements can include a distinction between External Active users and Employees/Internal active users in their Monthly Active Users (MAU) quotas. This is reflected in the MAU reports shown in the Support Center.

Solution

What is the difference between an Employee/Internal user and an External Active user?

The only distinction between these two types of users is the email domain they use to log in. Users with email addresses where the domains match those specified as “internal domains” in an Enterprise contract will be considered internal.

How can these internal domains be updated?

The internal email domains are specified to either the Technical Account Management team (TAM) or the Sales Executive during the setup of custom agreements.

The account administrators should contact the designated TAM to update the internal domains in a contract.
