Cannot create second, 3rd, etc Tenant Members

Issue Summary

• Expected: i invite Member (admin) they can accept and login to dashboard and do anything an admin of a tenant can do.
• Actual: i invite, they accept, set password, even choose 2FA, but when trying to login to dashboard, they are presented with login again.
  Happens on any additional account.

Steps to Reproduce if necessary

1. Invite member
2. They accept
3. Login “loop” with not being able to login to dashboard

Environment

• Platform: chrome

• i’m just trying to add a second or 3rd admin account to an Auth0 tenant and it can’t do that!!?? Ridiculous. I hope there is something simple

Thanks for your question.

I have seen this happen when users do not yet have their own Auth0 dashboard account. The solution involves creating their own Auth0 dashboard tenant with their credentials.

Once completed, they can proceed with the tenant admin invitation and join your tenant.

Could you have them give this a try and let me know how it goes?

while i find this to be very cumbersome (at least its not for an end user)
i needed to:

1. go to https://accounts.auth0.com/teams and navigate to members on the left & invite the user to the team.
   they accept, create password.
2. then need to add user to Tenant, they accept invite, login, accept invite…

very cumbersome IMO.
note: support also provided a JIT suggestion in the security settings But that was not an available option as shown in the article they shared with me:

so: 1) team account 2) tenant member.
