URGENT: Tenant scheduled for deletion, but all tenant admin access is broken

@support

Hello Auth0 Support,

Our existing Auth0 tenant is scheduled for permanent deletion due to inactivity.

Tenant: devdelm0
Region: US
Notice received: August 4, 2026
Plan: Legacy Free / Developer tenant-based subscription

The tenant still exists and appears in the tenant selector, but we cannot perform the administrative operation required to stop deletion.

Current symptoms:

  • Tenant Settings fails to load.
  • The Dashboard displays: “Tenant settings could not be loaded. Please try again.”
  • Adding a tenant member fails with: “You do not have permissions to access the resource.”
  • All previous tenant members/admins appear to have been removed or are no longer visible.
  • We cannot restore tenant membership from the Dashboard.
  • The Dashboard asks us to upgrade even though the current Free plan includes tenant administrators.

This appears to be a broken tenant membership / Team ownership / backend entitlement issue involving a legacy subscription.

Please urgently:

  1. Place a hold on or cancel the scheduled deletion.
  2. Restore access for the original tenant administrators.
  3. Preserve the existing tenant, tenant domain, applications, users, and configuration.
  4. Confirm how this legacy Free tenant can be migrated to the current Free plan without purchasing a paid plan.

We can provide the Auth0 account email addresses and screenshots privately by DM.

Please initiate a DM with us if our new Community account is not yet permitted to send private messages.

Thank you.
