Unable to upgrade my subscription

Problem statement

When trying to upgrade our subscription, the Order Form is showing the following error:
“Error! Payment for this subscription requires additional user acction before it can be completed successfully…” , and we can’t upgrade our subscription plan.


If you found the following error in the Order form when trying to upgrade your subscription:

This indicates that your payment method requires authentication with 3D Secure (3DS) to complete the payment process. For extra fraud protection, 3D Secure (3DS) requires customers to complete an additional verification step with the card issuer when paying. The way in which this verification is done can vary based on bank and their 3D Secure methods - e.g. logging into mobile app of bank and giving an approval / providing text-message sent to credit-card holder or one-time-code sent to the credit-card holder.

To solve this issue, have the person who manages the credit card verify the 3D Secure request sent from their bank to complete the payment.
