I have met a issue with new user login, which is exactly the same situation with this topic(Unable to login with new user). Unable to login with a user (username/password account) using correct password. Did password reset through admin, tried again with new password, user still cannot log in.
After multiple retries the login UI says “Your account has been blocked after multiple consecutive login attempts.” but the account is not actually blocked in the Admin.
Tried to manually block the account then unblock it and that too did not help.
