The App wont save in dashboard - dunno if its because something on the free trial has expired. I certainly didn’t enable any Machine to Machine access to Organizations deliberately and can’t find a way of switching it off!

Reading through your message, I would say that you are correct, Machine-to-Machine (M2M) Access for Organizations is an Enterprise feature which was accessible during the Trial period for the tenant. Once the Trial period has ended, this feature is no longer available unless you upgrade the tenant.
Are you setting up an Application and cannot save it because of the Error message, or are you encountering this somewhere else in the tenant?
