I have switched over our WordPress blog to use Auth0. To my surprise, once I did… I was getting several spam accounts an hour from bots. The ReCaptcha thing is annoying, but I would like to have it for creating accounts when sending from WordPress, but not from our e-commerce site. Is this possible to do?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to selectively enable Bot Detection for different applications. Once enabled, it applies globally to all applications. There is an option to set Bot Detection to When Risky so that it doesn’t affect legitimate uses.
Moreover, if you are noticing a large number of spam accounts, we recommend that you require Email Verification with Multi-Factor Authentication to decrease spam accounts.
