Hi Support!
Thank you for your time and help!
We (TruLab) recently moved to Enterprise MFA for prod, shall we add our Dev tenant to Teams now too?
Thanks!
Best Regards,
Donald

Hi @don.collins,

Yes, you could. The solution that would suit best would be to clone the tenant into the team. This is what I recommend and why:

Due to policy, Auth0 will not transfer data from one Auth0 tenant to another. All data in an Auth0 tenant is always under the control of the administrators and is available through the Management API at any time. More information can be found in the following documentation: Auth0 Operational Policies - Data export and transfer.

To migrate data from one tenant to another, you can use the following tools recommended for each situation:

The only information that cannot be migrated via the API is the password hashes. At this point, the tenant admin must open a Support Ticket to obtain a password hash export before importing the users into the new tenant. This will prevent the migrated users from having to reset their passwords.

Happy to clarify any questions.

Hi Ale,

Thank you for your time and help!

We are looking to have both our tenants, Prod and Dev, under Teams.
We are not looking to migrate or combine or import/export our Prod and Dev data, we wish to keep them separate but have both tenants as part of one Team.

Please see attached mocked up/edited screenshot below (we pasted in the dev enviro row) , displaying what we want to do - ie have both prod and dev environments listed under TruLab Team:

Previously, there was a check box/option to add our dev environment tenant to our Teams area but we no longer find this in the menu options.

Please advise !

Thanks!

Donald

This issue was resolved internally, but for anyone else interested, here’s the related documentation:
