QUESTION: On which tier can I use MFA feature?

ANSWER:

MFA (multi-factor-authentication) feature can only be used by developer pro or enterprise customers.

If you have an enterprise account you can make use of either Enterprise MFA as an add-on or Pro MFA feature.

If you are a Developer Pro user, you can only make use of Pro MFA.

  • What Enterprise MFA offers:

    • Users can receive push notifications in the Auth0 Guardian app or your white-labelled app using our SDK
    • It also supports one-time codes delivered via SMS or email

  • What Pro MFA offers:

    • You can use Duo or one-time password apps like Google Authenticator to prompt users for an additional factor when logging in
