I’d like to ask for clarification around multiple tenants within a single subscription. From what i could find - multiple pages and posts here specify that linking multiple tenants to one subscription is only available to Enterprise subscribers. However, when I look at subscription tab for my current tenant (free right now) - I can see following:
Both for B2C and B2B:
Essentials: 3 Tenants
Professional: 6 Tenants
Enterprise: Unlimited Tenants
I’d like to know this for a fact before involving our procurement department!
Professional sub fits our needs for now fully, but we need 2 dev environments, 1 staging and 1 production. If we go for B2C professional, can I link additional tenants there? If yes, would you recommend that I create production tenant first, add subscription and then proceed with creating secondary (non-prod) tenants?
In November 2023, Auth0 released a new structure for managing tenants, the Auth0 Teams feature. This feature consists of a dashboard view of your tenants and their admins/users. Team memberships sit on top of the tenant membership account.
The linking of tenants is associated with the old plan structure where there was a master tenant.
When creating the tenants, although the region and name are permanent, keep in mind you are still able to change environments at any point in time. Due to this, the order in which the tenants are created does not matter.
