Logs Not Displaying for Specific Filter and Date

Why can’t I see any logs when I apply certain conditions, such as:

  • Filter: Pre-login assessment
  • Date: 10 July?

It always shows ‘No logs match your search,’ even though the same conditions returned results for my colleague.

There could be a couple of reasons why the logs that you see are different from the logs other colleagues of you can see, amongst which:

  • you might be logged in a different tenant;
  • the Role that you have in the tenant does not allow you to view logs ( see more in our following documentation on Dashboard roles );
  • could be caused by some cache data or your session is expired. Please log out of the tenant, log back in and search for the logs again;

Just to gather more information, are logs generally viewable to you, are you having issues with only specific Filter/Date searches?

I would recommend that you open the logs section, pick one of the logs that you are able to see and then apply the same filter and date where that log event occurred. For example, if you can see a Failed Login event on July 10th without any filters applied, can you still see that log searched by the Failed Login filter and July 10th Date?
