Is Auth0 Custom Database free?

I’m looking at the free plan and it shows that “Auth0 Database Connection” is included in the free plan. Once I go to that page it shows that your able to use your own “user store” which is the same as “custom database”.

Custom database is not green on the free plan, it’s only green in the enterprise plan?

So I did some research and checked our pricing and here’s the thing. You’re right that Auth0 Database Connection is available both in Free as well as in enterprise but custom database is only available on enterprise

What’s the difference

  • Auth0 Database Connection

    • An IdP built into Auth0 for secure storing and managing username&password in an Auth0 database

  • Custom Database

    • It’s for connection to existing store or database through JavaScript that runs on Auth0 server on every authentication
