Inquiry on Monitoring Active User Limits on the Free Plan

Hello Auth0 Community,

I hope this message finds you well. I am currently leveraging the Auth0 free plan for my website and I’m trying to ensure that I stay within the active user limits imposed by the plan. As per my understanding, the free plan allows up to 7,500 active users per month.

Could someone guide me on how to check the number of active users I have in a given month? Additionally, is there a feature or a dashboard component that shows the used percentage of this limit? Understanding how close I am to reaching this threshold is crucial for my planning and management.

Any tips on monitoring this metric effectively would be greatly appreciated. Also, if there are best practices for managing and optimizing user activity to stay within the free plan limits, I’d love to hear about those as well.

Thank you in advance for your support and guidance.

Happy to share what’s available.

You could visit: https://support.auth0.com/reports/usage or request this data via the active-users endpoint of our Management API.

To see the usage in %, you could visit: https://support.auth0.com/reports/quota.

I would like to also encourage you to familiarise with this doc - Tooling for auditing Auth0 MAU, where you can find what counts against the metric.

Please let me know if you have any questions on that!
