How to add additional login option to my Auth0 account?

Hello everyone!

I’ve created my Auth0 account with a 3rd-party identity provider. I would like to add an ability to login with regular email/password combination. However I can’t find any way to do it in account settings. How do I do it?

After my investigation, there does not appear to be a way to change your login option to an email/password combination after creation.

I have also checked if it would be possible to invite the user’s email as a tenant member and grant them access that way. Unfortunately, it appears to automatically detect an account with a 3rd-party identity provider and override creation.

As an alternative, there is the option to create a new Auth0 account with an email/password combination and migrate your existing tenant settings over if needed using the Auth0 Deploy CLI.
