Hello,
My free tier tenant was recently deleted due to inactivity. However, the empty tenant shell is still appearing inside my dashboard profile. Because it hasn't been completely cleared from the system, it is triggering a "Limit Reached" error and blocking me from creating a brand-new replacement tenant.
Since I am on the free plan, I cannot open a support ticket to clear this configuration. Could a community moderator please look into my account backend and manually purge the inactive ghost tenant so I can successfully create a new one?
Thank you!
Hi @neerajpise3,
Welcome to the Auth0 Community!
I understand that your tenant has been affected by the inactivity window, so therefore you are encountering an issue in creating a new tenant.
Unfortunately we are unable to manually remove the currently impacted tenant so that you can create a new one. It is mentioned in our official documentation on the matter - Auth0 Tenant Deletion Due to Inactivity that:
Auth0 limits each account to one free tenant at a time. Auth0 may take several days to fully delete the previous tenant before an administrator can create a new one.
The same Knowledge Base Article mentions:
How do administrators create a new tenant?
Create a new tenant by signing up for a new account or using a different authentication method.
- Create a new tenant at auth0.com/signup.
- Use a different account by signing in with a new email address, or use an existing email with a different authentication method (such as Google or GitHub) to create a new tenant immediately.
Thank you for your understanding!
Best regards,
Remus
