Enterprise Connections terminating in 2 days - Need extension and alternatives

Hello Auth0 Community,

I need urgent help regarding Enterprise Connections termination scheduled for September 5, 2025 (in 2 days).

Situation

  • Current Plan: Free
  • Issue: Enterprise Connections feature will be terminated on Sept 5
  • Impact: Our Google Workspace SSO will stop working, blocking all user access
  • We received notifications since June but unfortunately missed them (my oversight)

Background

We’ve been using Enterprise Connections on the Free plan for several years without issues. I’m confused about:

  1. Why was this working on the Free plan until now?
  2. What changed that triggers this termination?

Urgent Questions

  1. Is it possible to request an extension of the termination date?
    We need 2-3 weeks to evaluate options and implement a solution.

  2. Are there free alternatives for Google Workspace SSO?

  • Can the “unlimited Okta connections” feature in the Free plan work with Google Workspace?
  • Is this only for OIDC or does it support SAML?
  • Any other workarounds within the Free tier?
  1. For small teams (under 50 users), what are the options?
  • Is Auth0 for Startups program applicable?
  • Most cost-effective plan for Google Workspace SSO only?
  1. Who should I contact for emergency extension?
    Since Free plan doesn’t have direct support, is there any channel for urgent termination issues?

I understand this is due to our delayed response, but any guidance would be greatly appreciated as we’re facing service disruption in 48 hours.

To answer some of your questions:

Eligibility requirements for the startup program:

  • Venture-backed with less than $5M in funding
  • Less than $1M in annual recurring revenue
  • Less than two years from the date of incorporation

Who should I contact for an emergency extension?
To get help the fastest, your best option is to upgrade your plan. This way, you will be able to create a ticket for direct help from the Developer Support Team. Also, the B2B Essential plan allows you to have 3 Enterprise Connections on the tenant.
