I’m trying to figure out SSO integration and pricing. We have a small WordPress site, with 500 users, which falls under the free tier. We have a partner that has an enterprise level Okta and they want to send traffic over to our site via SSO connection. As I’m reading the pricing page - SSO is included in a free plan. Furthermore, in the documents, I’ve read that I should configure the site as the Service Provider (SP) while using your partner’s Auth0 tenant as the Identity Provider (IdP) - that way I’ll still be in the free tier.
Now that we’ve configured everything - Auth0 is asking me to upgrade the plan to enterprise…
In order to configure an SSO connection with another connection or tenant (such as having an SP and IdP setup you have described), your application would require you to have an enterprise connection set up as SAML or OIDC between your tenant and the other one.
On a free tier account, you are unable to use the enterprise feature for your applications. You will be able to configure these connections however your application will not be able to use them. In order to have enterprise connections available for your tenant, you would need to upgrade to a an Enterprise agreement.
If your tenant meets the plan requirement for the connections, you should be able to configure a SAML/OIDC or even an OKTA connection to the parter.
