Customize Email Templates


This article lists a few things to consider when customizing email templates.

  • An email provider must be configured using a third-party service to be able to customize emails.
  • Once the template is customized or a provider is set, the default template will change and cannot be recovered. Feedback was received, and the product team had an item to track; regretfully, there is no ETA yet. In case it helps, we shared one of the default HTML templates in our community.
  • Only one template can be used for each template type.
  • Auth0 does not support plaintext/text-based emails.
  • The From Address, the Subject, and the Message body can be customized for each email template.
