What is changing?
We are announcing the deprecation of the auth0-drupal repository, with an end of life planned for March 8, 2022. After that date, the repo will no longer be supported or available.
Why are we making this change?
We’ve decided to end support for the auth0-drupal repository due to low overall usage and to prioritize more prominent initiatives.
What action do you need to take?
If you are currently leveraging the auth0-drupal repository, please make a note of the end of life date, March 8, 2022 and plan ahead to migrate your project/application to another supported resource prior to that date.
Please keep in mind if you download or continue to use the auth0-drupal repository after the end of life date, you will be doing so at your own risk. To avoid any complications we recommend migrating off the auth0-drupal resource.
Alternative Solution
An alternative solution could possibly be Drupal as it now can support OIDC via a Drupal Module. This will likely change the user experience if you are currently leveraging auth0-drupal in your project but does give another option to explore. Find out more at Drupal OpenID Connect / OAuth client.
