"Back to application" button missing in password reset success screen

I have configured my tenant correctly according to the instructions in this knowledgebase article.

  1. I am using the new Universal Login experience.
  2. I am not using customized password reset page.
  3. I have configured both application and tenant login URI (setting just one of those didn’t help either).

Despite this, the password reset success screen does not display the “Back to application” button.

The only difference I’ve seen with all similar posts in the forum is that I’m using OTP as the verification method for email instead of verification link. I understand that OTP as email verification method is in early access. Does it mean it doesn’t yet support “Back to application” button or is that a bug?

Hi @saithal,

@marybeth.hunter Thank you for the update. Hope an update/fix is released soon.

Hi @saithal,

Engineering has created a backlog item to address this, and the fix will be addressed prior to the OTP verification features going General Availability.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention!

Best,

Mary Beth

Hi @marybeth.hunter

Glad to hear that. Is there any timeline for the OTP verification going General Availability?
