I am a test automation engineer working on a mobile app. Our app is utilizing passwordless flow. I can receive verification codes to my personal cell phone, however, to automate this process end to end I am attempting to use Twilio inbound messaging.
The problem is that the verification message is not being received by Twilio.
Does anyone know if Auth0 does not send messages to twilio phone numbers or if Twilio is blocking Auth0?
Has anyone successfully automated passwordless flow using another method on a mobile device?
Hey there @rthompson1!
That will be quite strange having in mind that Passwordless flow uses Twilio. Let me quickly ask the product manager of that team and get back to you once I receive an answer.
I just got the response from that team product manager that it doesn’t sound like an issue coming from our side of the stack. Can you reach out to the Twilio Developer Community and see if they can help you debug it?
Have you had a chance to see my previous message?
Yes, I have been working with Twilio support if you are trying to text message one Twilio phone number to another they must be in the same subaccount using the same webhook, TwilBin or Studio Flow Rules.
Text messaging between different subaccounts even if the rules are exactly the same does not work some reason and it has not been determined why at this time.
Thank you so much for the help and support.
No worries! We’re here for you!
