In one tenant, I have an application set up as and IdP with a SAML Addon. The “Debug” works.
In another tenant, I have an application set up as a Service Provider and an Enterprise SAML connection pointed to the application in the first tenant. When I “try” the connection, “it works.” If I enable the DB for my SP, I can log in as a user in the DB. When I disable the DB connection and enable the SAML connection, I get the error “no connections enabled,” even though there clearly are. And, to reiterate, that connection tests ok.
This seems like a pretty significant flaw. What could I be missing?
The “no connections enabled” error might have multiple causes. Please check that you have the Authentication Profile set to Identifier+Password. Also make sure that the Enterprise SAML connection has not been configured to display the connection as a button.
