Why does the Reset Password portion of the new universal login dialog only mention username, rather than email address?

Why does the Reset Password portion of the new universal login dialog only mention username, rather than email address? Can this be configured? We only want to use email address for both sign in and the triggering of the reset password flow.

Got one question. Don’t you have the Database Connection set to Require Username(Adding Username for Database Connections)?

We once did, but that determines that the sign up form should have a username field. We found that even though the user could sign in using either their email or username, the Reset Password portion of the universal login dialog only mentioned username. Now that don’t have the requires username option checked the form say email address, which is what we wanted. Thanks
