Overview
This article addresses whether setting user notification preferences for account actions between SMS and Email is possible as a permanent communication channel for actions such as password changes or account blocks.

Solution
Notification preferences for account actions cannot be configured for individual users. The configuration is managed at the connection level.
- When both an email address and a phone number are configured as identifiers for a connection, users are prompted to choose their preferred notification method (Email, Text Message, or Voice Call) when an action like a password change is initiated.
