User Import/Export Extension Results in "Auth0 Oops!, something went wrong"

Problem statement

The error Oops, something went wrong! pops up when clicking on the User Import / Export extension from the Extensions screen in the dashboard.

Symptoms

When trying to use the Import/Export Extension, the user is prompted with a Oops, something went wrong! error and they are unable to use the extension.

Steps to reproduce

This issue happens from time to time, and does not always apply.

Steps:

1. Go to Extensions.
2. Search for “User Import/Export”.
3. Click on User Import/Export Extension. This will open a new tab.
4. Error pops up. Oops, something went wrong!

Solution

A simple uninstall and re-install of the extension can resolve this issue.

1. In the Auth0 Dashboard, go to Extensions.
2. Click on Installed Extensions tab.
   
3. Search for Extension “User Import/Export” On the search bar.
4. Click on the 3 dots .
5. Select Uninstall .
   
6. Click Yes, Uninstall .
   
7. Click on All Extensions tab.
8. Search for “User Import/Export” on the search bar.
   
9. Click Install .
