Cause

This behavior occurs because a script prevents double submission of the form. When a user navigates back to the page, the script causes the page to appear unresponsive. This can be verified by disabling JavaScript in Developer Tools and attempting to reproduce the issue; the Continue button will not be blocked.

Solution

To restore the use of the Continue button on the Universal Login page after using the back button, follow one of these steps:

  • Reload the Universal Login page.
  • Open the Universal Login page in a new browser tab or window.
