Long time back one is created with github sso, and yesterday invite sent to myself on same email and accepted, created another tenant, can we merge them in free account.

This is actually be the expected behavior, since a username/password invited account must already have created an account or sign up, which requires having a separate tenant.
Unfortunately accounts can not be merged in Auth0, neither can tenants be, unless you are willing to move to Auth0 Teams.
