The possibility to enumerate users on Sign Up

Hi,
We are using Auth0 for authentication and we want to display a generic message when a user tries to sign-up using an already existing email.
Currently it displays the following message:

After some documentation we found this to be the solution:

But it does not seem to have any effect.

Hi @vlad.andreescu,

I tried this and can confirm it is not working for the new universal login experience. It should work correctly for classic universal login.

I am going to check with the team and see if this is a known feature gap or an unintended bug.

Thanks for pointing it out. In the meantime, you can use classic login if you need an immediate solution.

Meanwhile we’ll discuss if we’re going to switch to the classic login.

Sorry for the late update here. The issue has been moved into our backlog. I don’t currently have an ETA.
