Send code base verification email via management API

Hi there,

I’m looking for a solution to manually verify a user email, as part of our customized user email change flow. I noticed there is a “Verification Email (using Code)” in the email template list, which is exactly what I need. So I’m wondering if possible to trigger and send the code based verification email through the management API?

Thanks for reaching out to the Auth0 Community!

Unfortunately, there is no way to send the code based verification email through the Management API.

The “Verification Email (using Code)” email template is intended to handle the following scenarios:

1. In Adaptive MFA, when the user is not enrolled with an MFA factor
2. Newly introduced email verification flows with Azure AD/ADFS

I suggest checking out our How to use "Email Verification (using code)" - #3 by lihua.zhang post that explains this in more detail.
