When I request users using the query user_metadata.userRoles="Admin" I get incomplete results, because the application always searches for upper case first, cannot even get correct results if I do user_metadata.userRoles=“Admin” or user_metadata.userRoles=“admin”

Welcome to the Auth0 Community!
All user_metadata fields are case sensitive, so if you are signing users with Admin or admin that can lead to incomplete results.
