SAML Error logging in

I am trying to setup SAML to my internal jenkins server, but I am receiving the following error:

invalid_request: The SAML Request AssertionConsumerServiceURL is invalid: ‘http://exzeo-jenkins:8080/securityRealm/finishLogin’

Does this not work over internal servers? Will the server be required to be public facing for this to work?

Disregard, i got it working… was missing the port when setting up the SAML plugin
